Equipment Available to Borrow for Online Teaching
As announced on March 18, 2022, the Institute will return fully to in-person instruction by Monday, April 4, 2022. Resources for remote and online teaching are provided on this site if Caltech must shift to remote instruction in the future.
Outside of special emergency permissions granted during the pandemic, Caltech's accreditation is limited to in-person instruction.
Academic Media Technologies has equipment to borrow for online teaching.
Equipment was purchased for Spring 2020 instruction and is allocated to instructors as first-come, first-served. Please contact amt@caltech.edu to inquire about the status of inventory. If AMT has the requested equipment, they will provide instructions to coordinate with Caltech Security to pick up equipment from AMT.
Although many items are no longer in AMT's inventory, we maintain this list to provide video demos and product info.
